Product Overview.

KP-DW15 (DW15 Series) Air Circuit Breaker covers rated current 100A~4000A, rated voltage AC380V 50Hz. It distributes power and protects circuits & equipment against overload, undervoltage and short-circuit. DW15-200/400/630 versions can protect motors and work under 380V/660V/1140V networks. Featuring current-limiting capability, it fits grids prone to high short-circuit current. It can switch circuits and start motors infrequently under normal conditions.

Application Scope

Low-voltage distribution for factories, mines, power plants and commercial buildings. Serves as main incoming breaker. DW15-200/400/630 can act as motor protection switch and be used in industrial 660V & 1140V circuits.

Installation & Maintenance

Horizontal fixed mounting, fasten terminals firmly. Regularly clean arc extinguishing chamber dust; calibrate protection setting values; inspect main contacts after fault tripping.

Precautions

Forced closing under faulty load is prohibited. Do not arbitrarily adjust trip setting parameters. Enhance cabinet protection under dusty or humid conditions.

The breaker is mainly used  to distribute electric energy in the power distribution network and to prevent the circuit and power souree equipment from overload,undervoltage and short circuit .DW15-200,400 and 630 can also be used in AC50hz 380V electric network to protect the motor from overload,undervoltage or short circuit,or in 660V or 1140V power distribution network to offer above protections,under the normal conditions,the breaker can be used to switch the circuit and start the motor infrequently,with the current limiting characteristics,the current-limiting breaker is especially suitable for the network where large short circuit current is likely to occur.
